right outside mirror 67 Cutlass

I don't see anyone listing a right outside rear view mirror for a 67. Was this not an option or just too low a volume to reproduce? My convertible has terrible visibility through the plastic window and a right side mirror would be helpful. Also, the ones I see for the driver's side do not come with a bracket, what's up with that? Any thoughts appreciated.

Fusick USED to repro the RH side 67 mirror, but I don't see it in their current catalog. I guess there wasn't enough market for it. You might want to call and see if they have any left.

FWIW, the rh mirror was only available as a "Dealer Accessory" on the '67 A-bodies.

That might explain why I don't see exterior mirrors in the Assembly or Fisher Body manuals either. A simple mirror shouldn't be this difficult. Looks like a close enough mirror may have to do.

I'm in for a "close enough" flavor but would want a Left and Right matching set. Hate that blatant blind spot!

Nice Vert tmaleck, love the red!

It was an option on 67 vista cruiser.
I bought a drivers side mirror from Fusick and put it on the pass side...works just fine.
I found a NOS Pass side mirror at a swap meet and I can't tell any differance between the 2 except for the part #

I did that too, but the mirror angle is so poor I can't see anything out of it anyway. If I move it to be useful, it is no where near in the same place on the door as the left side.

So maybe the driver side re-pop on the passenger side with one of those spot mirrors stuck on it might be the ticket?

tmaleck, curious if the poor angle is due to the mirror adjustment range (being a drivers side) or just the strange mount point rear of the wing window? I think the drivers side is strange where you have to crane your neck to peer in it. It would be nice if they put the thing in front of the wing, they had plenty of space up there!
