I have access to a 79 cutlass supreme that was going to be junked out. Quarters and doors are pretty much gone but it runs and is complete. My question is are there any parts on this car that are hard to find or everyone is looking for kinda thing that i should know about before i junk it. I only deal with 70 thru 72 cutlass stuff and i know what to take off on those cars. Just thought i would ask before i let it go, so i dont have one of those i wish i would have moments.

Any nice lights & lences and any non cracked bumper fillers are hard to find . I have a 79 Hurst olds, and others that have one will comment or shime in as well. Any calais stuff... hood orniments, header pnl emblems, grilles and T- top stuff worth saving. Console / bucket seats and tilt columns, sport wheels ...Good bumpers and doors for the guys up north in the rust belt are hard to come by.


I could use the front bumper fillers and the rear tail lights if avail.

Well as all things go that seem to be too good to be true, the guy called me and says he has a guy who wants the car now and if he backs out its mine. I guess i should know better than to react on something that i dont have in my hand. Thanks to the guys that responded i will let you know if this deal comes back to me, Sorry My bad!
