Looking to buy an 88 Ciera for my son form a nieghbor. Its been setting for a year, just replaced the battery, check engine light is on, ran fine for 25 minutes, then stalled. Restarted on pedal to the floor, would idle fine, but stall as soon as you touch the gas pedal. Drove the 5 miles home on idle....hitting brake and putting into gear didn't stall, just touching the gas caused it to stall. Any thoughts?

Try unpluging one of the injectors and C if it will rev. up if it does then u have a bad injector so u have to pull the plenim off and ohm the injectors and C wich one is off.
