Hello all,
I have a new found interest in oldsmobile cutlass's and I have recently purchased my second olds cutlass salon. This past weekend I drove the car, which was running fine, from the St. louis area to Kansas City and back. After the trip, I have noticed that my car is running incredibly better than before the trip. It idles much better and just purrs like a big kitty. Can some of you more experienced guys inform me to what has just happened?

Highway miles tend to blow carbon deposits, accumulated during city driving, out the tailpipe. A weekly, WOT, trip up a Freeway/Highway onramp will keep them from building up.
If you hear a "Geezer" talk about 'Blowing the cobwebs out" its what he's talking about.
