Newbie from Texas
Great forums! I've spent hours reading and searching through the posts. I wish I would have found this place long ago!
I have my father's Oldsmobile! My dad bought the Cutlass new from Gallas Olds/Caddy in Albuquerque, New Mexico in April 1972.
I have owned his car since 1999. I learned to drive in this car, I learned that you can't "fly" a car like you see on Dukes of Hazzard in this car! I learned how to replace motor mounts on this car! My girlfriend and I learned...in this car!
Anyway I love my Cutlass!
It's a 1972 Holiday Coupe. It was originally yellow with tan interior. It is now Matador Red with white interior. I was a twelve-year-old-kid when my dad bought the Cutlass, I tried and tried to get him to spend an extra $1500 to get a W-30 Convertible, but he was too frugal
I had the 350 rebuilt when premium gas was $1.25/gallon. It has a thumping cam, high compression pistons, headers, new exhaust, front disc-brake swap, and a paint job that cost more than the car cost new
I look forward to learning and sharing info with all you guys and gals in the future!

Welcome James! I'm in San Antonio.
Did you make it to the Oldsmobile Club of America Nationals in Dallas last July? You might want to be a part of the North Texas Oldsmobile Club. http://clubs.hemmings.com/clubsites/ntexasoca/
