New electronic points (MSD)

Has anyone had experience with this product from MSD? It is very similar to the Pertronix lobe sensor kit but this only has one wire to the coil.

Is this item available for Oldsmobile?

At the top of the page and in the spec link it says for chebby v-8.

According to the site. This product is not available for any low deck or high deck Oldsmobile engine yet (small block or big block).

I called MSD and it will be available for the Oldsmobile 350 in June. I don't think I can wait that long.

I think I will go with the Pertronix 1181LS for now.

Anyone have the 1181LS?
