Question Negative Battery Cable

I need a new negative battery cable for a 78 260 Olds. I want one as OEM as possible. What other years would the cable be the same? Would it be the same as the larger Olds engines? It is a side post so I am guessing I am limited to the later years?

So does anyone know where I can get a negative battery cable? I called Fusik and of course their supply only goes to 1977 and he can't tell me if a cable from an earlier 260 V8 or 350 V8 would work.

Thanks in advance

I just got the length online and got one at a local parts store. Or have one made to fit.

Check American Autowire for an exact repro. Rockauto would have them listed as well. Not sure if they will have one that new but is worth a try.
