Need a 200 R4 Transmission

I've got a 1979 Cutlass with the Olds 260 motor (rebuilt, runs great, about 110 hp) and a 3:08 posi rear. About 11 years ago I had installed a 200R4 overdrive transmission which has now croaked and I need to get a replacement. Is there anyone who would have a recommendation on where I can buy one? It looks like Patriot in Florida has them but I don't know anything about that company. Jasper no longer stocks these and wants mine to rebuild. I don't want my car laying up in the garage for weeks (months) waiting for this to arrive, and I'd like to keep a spare around at any rate.

Would anyone know a brand I can look into, I'm looking for a stock deal with no shift kit, just a factory style one would do, and thanks.

I found a site that listed "donor" cars that would have the 200 4r in them.

· 1981-'90 de Ville and Brougham
· 1981-'88 Buick LeSabre, Electra RWD, Chevelle, Monte Carlo, Malibu and El Camino
· 1982-'90 Chevrolet Impala, Caprice, Olds Delta 88, 98 and Custom Cruiser
· 1984-'87 GMC Caballero and Pontiac Grand Prix
· 1983-'88 Olds Cutlass 442 and Supreme
· 1983-'89 Parisienne and Safari Wagon
· 1981-'87 Buick Regal
· 1981 Buick Century and Pontiac Firebird with 301

The site I got it from is below.

With a 110HP I'd look at any local good transmission shop and have it rebuilt (read there guaranty), if you don't want the car down go buy a core at a junk yard and have it rebuilt, but I would thick rebuilding your stock one would be best.
