I'm finishing up a rebuild of a 72 H/O and have a mystery part that I can't figure a location for. Judging by its condition, i would say it's definitely an interior bracket or brace of some sort. Anyone have a clue on this one?

Glove box latch area?

That's what I thought and I've reviewed the glove box images in the service and ***'y manuals for this car. It doesn't show there, unless I'm overlooking something. Thanks, though!

Looks almost like a flap-stop inside the heater box on an A/C equipped car. I would need to check pics when I get home.
