My interior

New to the site. But I am working on a 1968 cutlass and wondering what company I can get the best parts from. I have gutted the interior and really need every thing. Thanks for the help.

Lots of options. Many will argue that Fusick (www.fusick.com for their on-line catalog) is the best all-round Olds supplier. Year One (www.yearone.com) and Original Parts Group (www.opgi.com) are also suppliers. For mechanical parts, I highly recommend Super Cars Unlimited (www.supercarsunlimited.com) as SuperCars is all Oldsmobile.

I have a '68 and a '69. I got most of what I need for those cars from SuperCars and Fusick.

Thanks Randy.

I will definitely look into those. I have info on OPGI and year one. Just wanted to make sure I can get the best products. I also have a 68 Convertible. Thanks again. Duane.

For interior/upholstery related parts, I like Legendary Interiors. You can download a catalog here:

Legendary Auto Interiors. If you need seat covers & door panels, they are the best.

Most of the other suppliers (Fusick, Year One, OPGI) carry either PUI or Legendary. If you go with Legendary wait until the beginning of December to order and get the 10% off xmas special. I have also had good luck calling them (not at xmas time) and getting the 10% simply by saying you'll just wait until xmas anyway.

Legendary has the best seat covers!! They cost more but they're worth it!!! The PUI brand covers look absolutely horrible, at least for '68-'69s. If you can wait, they usually have a decent sale around xmas/newyears.

Thanks

Thank you all for the info. There are a lot out there to choose from. This car was stored about 12 years and over the time became mouse infested. The worst I've ever seen. So ya I need everything. Thanks again everyone for the leads.

Nice

That will be a sharp ride when done! I like the blue on the exterior as well.

Welcome to C.O.

I just installed a PUI headliner and front seat cover in my 70 Cutlass S. Check out the Mousecapades! thread. I will get the pics up shortly for the front cover. Their products are decent, the online catalog sucks. I ordered the wrong package tray and also ended up with seat covers with no head rests but they can be bought separate. Colour matches and is good quality. I found a place a few hours away with good prices. I will chat with them and get the right package tray and head rest covers and odds and ends to finish it.

Mice - Be cautious

You mentioned that a number of mice had set up home in your fine ride. But you don't mention what part of the country you are in. Be careful as you remove and restore the interior. Hanta Virus is a real, and deadly, thing - primarily in the west/southwest of the US. If you don't know about Hanta, please research it. You can never be too careful in this regard!

Interior

Sounds like legendary has the majority. Mike love the 68 442 red convertible.. In addition to the coupe I also have the S model convertible red with white interior. Has a 69 455 in it. Ya a HUGE concern dealing with mouse crap. I live in Illinois. I cleaned the car out about two weeks ago. everything is stripped down and the damaged parts thrown out.

Melville, Saskatchewan Canada but the car came from close to the Alberta border. I know about Hantavirus, hopefully I lucked out.
