Last ride of the year in the '69 - Video -
I have not posted anything in a while but thought I would share a video I took today with my 4yr old son. I am getting ready to start the body work on the Cutlass and thought we should get one last drive in.
I have been working on getting all the bugs worked out of the engine and trans. I think that is done, the 350 runs great now. I just love banging through the gears.
Enjoy!

Thanks 71rocket
My co-pilot gets almost as excited as I do when we take "Old Gold" (that is what my son calls the Cutlass) for drives. This video will give me motivation to complete the body work and get her back on the road. I have to patch both fenders and replace the 1/4 panels, then strip/paint and new v top. I have her in the garage and the trim is all removed. I was happy when I removed the trim that there is no rust around the front or rear window. My fingers are still crossed untill I remove the glass but I think this is one problem I won't have to deal with. Need to order the patches for the fenders this week then I can start that project. When that is done then I will move on to the 1/4 panels.

Thanks for the video. 4 speed, nice car. I like the "Daddy your speeding" comment. My 3 and 6 year olds like going for rides too in my 71. I try to pick up my 6 yr old from school when the weather is good so she can enjoy it. My 3 yr old screems weeee! when I nail it for him! I guess I should be glad he's too young to tell mommy on me.
Good luck with the resto and post pics as you progress.
