Heater Control Help Needed
I’ve got a heater control question for my 66 Cutlass. When I picked up my Cutlass the heatercontrols were not connected. The heaterbox is in place and the heater core is good. I have not had a chance yet to test the blower motor to see if thatworks. Last night I was going to hook upmy heater control but I don’t have a clue how and I haven’t had much luck so farfinding any useful information. ActuallyI am not even sure I have the right controls. The control unit I have has to points for cables to hook up and twovacuum ports. It looks like one cable ismeant to control weather air goes to the defroster or vents while the othercable has to do with A/C. It looks likeone of the vacuum ports is intended to control temp and the other it tied intothe A/C controls. My heater box hasthree cables coming off of it. Doesanyone have a diagram that shows how this is all supposed to go? Do I even have the right controls? Also does anyone know where I can find a newblower control switch? The one on mycontrols is in pieces.
