Headlights

Does anyone know of a source of headlights that would fit ( 5.75" round ) the 1969 Cutlass, that would be a single unit high/low beam, with a turn signal built in? Considering a ram air induction set up that would delete the two inboard headlights.

Thanks.

These would probably do the trick, you can go with higher wattage bulbs if you add relays. No clue on signal equipped equivalent.

Just a comment. Changing the headlight arrangement on a car might not be legal. Headlights are safety items, and changing factory configurations might not be allowed even though other cars from the same manufacturer and year came with single headlamps on each side. I don't know. I do know that it was no small matter for manufacturers to begin offering quad headlamps in 1958, the first year they were legal on American cars. Manufacturers needed approval from the then-48 states before they could offer quad headlamps. Legal approval was also required in the mid-70s before manufacturers could begin to offer rectangular headlights.

I don't know for sure that you'd have a problem if you live in a state where safety inspections are required for registration. Perhaps something to look into, though, before spending a lot of time and money to make the modification.

This post has got me thinking about changing all 4 of mine to these and then turning the signal lights below on my 71 into running lights/fog lights like they have on cars today.

Anyone done that yet?
If so can you give us some pics and part numbers.
