got my 68 up and going the day before my wedding :)

my cutlass was going to be my wedding car. managed to put a quarter on, strip the fender and door down to bare metal and do all the body work paint it epoxy primer black, and get her running and driving after 3 years of sitting.
and after pushing her home at 1am the morning of the wedding, we figured her out, got her running and was even able to do a decent burnout leaving the church

will add images soon

COOL!
I had always wanted to do the Olds wedding but at the time mine was in pieces and I did not have your ambition. Driving through western NY back around 87-88 we went past a church wedding with 4 or 5 Cutlass/442's lined up out front. Very nice.
