As you guys know, the pics I first posted were as the car looked when the seller purchased it 1.5yrs ago. Here is the rust I found, very minor if you ask me. The car has been sitting in his drive for 6mos or so. Also the BIG white reason it has to sit on one half of the garage... I still thikn my $2800 was well spent.

I'm looking to replace the chrome mirrors with sport mirrors. Here are a few shots of the frame and the new goodies that came with the car. What do you think guys?

You asked, so I give my 2 cents. I sell that stuff and keep it the way it is.

A quick review of many threads here should tell you that just slapping on manifold and throwing in a cam isn't such a hot idea. It should require a plan.

I do understand that installing this stuff without a proper plan does no good. I figured I might as well use the parts since they were all included with the car.

Looks like a quite nice project. You can always use the parts as sales and barter material to put toward other things if you want. New in box parts are usually good for 60-65% of new price pretty easy and more if you want to sit on them for a little while.

I hope he didn't say the the trunk was flawless.
I hate when there isn't a flaw in the trunk and the spare tire has to sit on the gas tank and you have to keep the jack in the back seat.
