exhaust headers

Can anyone tell me where I can get headers from for my 72 cutlass supreme? It seems like everybody is only selling them for 442's and the regular cutlass.

442 headers and regular cutlass headers will fit on a supreme

there is some kind of myth that the supreme takes a special header that no one makes

Contrary to what the header manufacturers say, there is absolutely no difference between the Supreme and any other Cutlass or 442 as far as headers are concerned. You WILL have problems with the brake distribution block on the frame - it will need to be relocated to the top of the frame rail. Also, some headers will not clear the column shift linkage, so be sure to research this before you buy. These are generic problems with headers in all Cutlii, not just Supremes.
