Drivers side rear end sagging

Drivers side rear end sagging
71 cutlass convertible, frame on restoration, front end completely redone. Have not put it on the road yet. My drivers side rear end and front end appear to be lower than the passenger. No frame damage, southwest car, no rust. Why is it this way?

Coils springs tend to sag over time and weight, just like springs in mattresses. The weakest one will show a sag first.
My 72 vert has a slight list to starboard. Looking under it, I saw the rubber spring insulator at the top of the spring is half missing. The whole rear suspension will be replaced soon.

When you torqued the suspension bolts, was the weight of the car on the wheels? If not, the rubber suspension bushings can be "locked in" at the wrong suspension height, leading to ride height problems. On the other hand, if these are the original springs, it may be time to replace them.

That's messed up, was it like this before you rebuilt the front end? Might be able to help if you were more specific as to what you replaced and did not replace.

Wow that is weird. Usually if say the front passenger side spring was bad that side would sag and on the rear it would bring up the divers side, like a fulcrum. BUT if you had larger diameter tires on the rear and then when you reinstalled them you put them both rear tires on the front & rear of the passenger side then the passenger side would be higher. Did you replace the springs on the front or all four corners?

I replaced everything rubber related on the front end before I dropped in the 350. The fenders bumpers and such are off the car. Just the frame, motor, body and such together. My garage floor is dead flat and I measured the frame with a tape and a level while lifted and stands adjusted and set in the same place. Tires are all good, rear end is level. No shocks on the front yet. Springs were set in correctly. Have not done the rear suspension yet. Noticed this first and decided to analize first. Rear shocks are not air and move freely.

car was on jackstands to take weight off of the springs to check and see if frame was twisted. Front end was not on so I could at least verify the front of the frame was true in various spots. If it is easy to take out the rear springs I am going to try and swap sides and see what happens. I have taken measurements with the car up and the car down. Sagging is definitely happening when a load on it.

When I had the suspension checked on my 71 cutlass convertible, there was a slight difference in ride height. My shop suggested a 1/2" spacer on the bad spring. I haven't tried it yet, but it could be a low cost fix for yours.
