The doors were becoming harder and harder to open. Finally the handle cracked in the middle. I replaced it but the door still wont open from the outside. I can from outside push the rod down and door pops open. After replacing the door handle, It opens easily from inside but not from outside. i've tried adjusting the push rod threaded nut up and down. But no success. What else needs adjustment on a door for an 88 olds cutlass sl 2 door.

 

Are you now using repo door handles?

 

Yes, ordered them thru advance auto.
