correct engine color '69 350 2bbl

Over the years Olds V8s have had green. gold, red, turquoise metallic, and non-metallic turquoise (late '70s, 80s) engine colors... so what is correct for a '69 Rocket 350 2bbl? The '69 brochure shows a big block in red, and iirc my '69 Toro had a metallic turquoise 455.
???

Every single small block Olds built from 1964 to 1974 was gold.

Ya my Mom's '74 Omega coupe w/ 350 4bbl was gold. My '65 Dyn 88 convert 425 was red, my '69 Toro 455s were metallic aqua, my '57 convert and '58 88 371 sedan were gold, my '56 324 88 convert and 98 Holiday were green, my '50 98 303 was green ...all these Olds, but never had a 350 before!

Block color

My 69 VC has a blue block and everything else is gold. Query fixing to replace the radiator, it’s black but where the paint has rubbed off, it’s the gold color. I know it’s the original radiator, but has been worked on, an I’m assuming it was painted black before reinstallion. Am I correct.

Check the VIN derivative stamp on the block.
