hello folks..great site love the info.. my question is i have a 69 cutlass 350 with temp light..my sending unit is broken and has one terminal on it.. all the new ones i see have 2 terminals.. can i use this one or do i nneed to try to find one woth one terminal..thanks for all the advice..!

You need the one with single terminal, and make sure it's for a warning light car. A gauge sender will make your light do strange things.
The two terminal sender is for cars that have both COLD and HOT warning lamps, and 69 Cutlasses did not have the COLD light. I think 1970 was the last year Olds used the COLD light on anything.

Update: the RockAuto on line catalog for 1969 Cutlass is wrong. What a shock... 
If you search for a sender for a 1970 Cutlass, you'll find Standard Motor Products P/N TS6 for $10.55. NAPA lists this a P/N MPE TS6469SB for $7.83 or P/N ECH TS6469 in their Echlin line for $13.05.
