Best priced window sweeps for a 70 Cutlass S

Looking for the best price, anything out there for less than $100 plus for a set?

There are two styles being sold, the more expensive exact reproductions and the less expensive generics. The latter have a different chrome bead and thinner felt. The generics are sold for under $100 a set (for the outers only) from the usual sources like Steele.

Joe, what is my car considered a hard top or 2 door coupe? Assume it is a hard top. I only see the full sets for $139, which isn't so bad I guess.

Yours is a Holiday (hardtop) Coupe. A post car would be a Sport Coupe. Aftermarket suppliers often use different (and sometimes incorrect) terminology. Sorry, the $93 set I found at Steele was for a Supreme HT. I didn't read far enough. Tamraz has PUI brand sweeps on ebay for $95 with free shipping.

Thanks Joe, added to my watch list, I need to brush up on these cars. I saw a nice 70 or 71 I believe go down my street, light blue, vinyl top.

I bought the PUI for my 68 Cutlass Supreme. Was kinda dumbfounded when they arrived and I found the felt on the outside and the wiper on the inside, they fit perfect but we're backward, or so I thought. Called Tamraz and was told that's the way they were. After thinking this guy's high I dug up my old originals and he was right. Anyway, perfect fit but I still can't understand why the seem bass akwards.

That does seem backward to me, good to know. I am sure my G body was the other way. Doing this for wind noise and air leakage.

Nothing in search on Summit showed anything, plugged in the part number and it came up $13 cheaper and shipping is $20 less with whole bunch of other stuff.

Can you post the part number for Summit please? Their search engine sucks.

Thanks
