Belt Diagram/ Squealing Noise

Belt Diagram/ Squealing Noise

I need a belt diagram for my 1986 Cutlass Supreme it squeaks loud when I accelerate or reach high speeds it feels kinda loose so replacing mt belts will hopefully cure the prob. Any advice is welcome! Thanks

I had to go into your prior posts to find 307 for the engine. Take a good picture of your belts before dropping them.

I think your barking up the right tree with fresh belts and tightening them properly!

Yeah, try SEARCH. The 307 squealing belt topic comes up about once a month. It's nearly always due to an improperly tensioned PS pump belt. See this post:

Alright I was able to tighten my alternator belt but I cannot figure out how to tighten my power sterring belt. Pictures would really help

And had you taken the time to follow the link I provided in the post directly above yours, you would have seen a picture that showed how to do it.
