Hi,
I am trying to find out what these Rubber pieces in the side of the doors (the part that goes into door jam) are called and where I might find them (see pic) 1964 Cutlass.
An old motor head who used to judge car shows saw my car and noticed they were missing, he said they probably forgot to put them back when they painted the car (before I owned it) I have no idea what they are called, didn't really see anything that looked like them online. So if anyone can help I appreciate it.
To answer questions in advance:
Yes I own the service manuals
Yes I did go through the Body and Chassis manual
No I did not find an answer in the manuals (as usual)
Thanks in advance for any help. What is this called?
Joe,
Hi
I bought the kit that you showed in your previous post. I put the door bumpers in. I want to make sure I did it correctly and to try to find out what the other pieces of the kit are for. Don't know if I need them but want to check (see pics.) Thanks
Is this correct?
Anyone know what these pieces are for? I'm guessing the ones on the right are for the hood.

I believe those on the left are for the fender-to-hood clearance area. They are very similar to mine. They should insert into slots in the "jamb" area of the fenders. Some (which?) may be for your glove box and/or gas door/license plate frame. Perhaps also for a console door/lid?
