another 66 cut supreme cowl request
just some info I can't dig up on this cowl on my own
st = obvious 66-33839 lan20678 body
tr 900-C <--? H-2 paint
W 2xr <-?-> DD
5Y <--?
what am I supposed to have?
I am second owner
I have quite a bit of paperwork with it including copies of original title and some old insurance cards too
no build sheet yet though.
oh and how does one read that protect-o-plate?

Thank you for the reply
really the only things I haven't been able to figure out are
line 2 XR floor shift and rear speaker?
as well as the DD that follows it
the 900-C trim code. Is this a custom code?
and the 5Y parts
and well the proctectoplate since I only recently acquired the ride and don't have any books of my own yet.
appreciate any help I can get
just trying to see how original the car is still

Okay, here we go.
You have a Cutlass Supreme. The first year for the Supreme model and in '66 it only came as a 4-door hardtop. It also has the 320 hp 330 which is a sleeper of sorts and a nice little powerhouse. Even with the Jetaway, it is a decent stoplight warrior!
Now the details:
W .......tinted windshield
"line 2 XR floor shift and rear speaker?" ........No, column shift auto and rear speaker
"as well as the DD that follows it"...........it is not DD, probably 3D which would be for some interior trim.
"the 900-C trim code. Is this a custom code?"...........no, it is a standard code to identify what what interior you have 900 is the color and fabric (I don't have those codes here at work). C is bench seat.
"and the 5Y parts" .........deluxe seat belts.
POP has info on the engine (320 hp 330), trans (Jetaway), and rear (Pontiac 3.08 open).
The "10100" says:
You have:
Power steering
Deluxe (regular) radio.
You don't have:
Power brakes
Cruise
A/C
Heavy duty engine cooling
Power windows
Power locks.
I think that's about it.

Many thanks...
That is exactly what i have except one thing
the seats were recovered at one point, although whoever did the work left the original covering under there. I am happy they did because when i get around to redoing them myself i can have it copied for exact replacement!
maybe one thing i am unclear on with the open diff ...
light throttle yields either wheel spinning depending on traction
and full throttle yields two black marks for a short distance! then pass side for whatever distance remains.
would this be normal operation for this particular type of open diff.?
I wouldn't see why only that one part would have been changed with the rest of the car being original and less than 50k
