Does anyone have a picture of the correct grilles for a 1972 Cutlass S? or did it vary?
i am convinced my grille is not correct to my car
Thanks

Register at http://wildaboutcarsonline.com/cgi-b...plate.cgi?id=8 then go to the library and in the Olds section you can check out the '72 assembly manual and it has grill identification, should be in section eleven.
The site is an invaluable resource.
Check this out too.

I see them with the Supreme and 442 grills too but I think they've been changed and they only came with the grills pictured originally.

question
Do you have another car? You mentioned a 72 Cutlass S. Your avatar pic shows a 70 rear bumper on Cutlass S?
As mentioned above that 442, Supreme and S cars had different grilles.

No worries, I understand your concern, when i bought my own car the Previous owner told me my car was a post car, being new to olds i thought, great, i have one of the 6500 odd post cars built in 72.
Turns out to be a post you need to have an actual "post" running from the door to the roof. Ive never actually seen a post car in real life. But would be cool if you have one.
