71 Cutlass Convertible top not working

Can someone tell me how to locate the fuse for the top? The top was working perfectly then got stuck down and won't move. The car has several electrical issues so I'm inclined to think this is electrical also.

I am pretty sure that is a circuit breaker instead of a fuse.

Exactly: Circuit breaker on firewall more or less behind brake booster.

But the problem is usually the switch.

Thanks for that info. Any guidance on replacing the switch? I'm no mechanic but I'm fairly handy. Tough job?

It's annoying to get to and you can usually disassemble it and clean it.

See Rob's thread on the subject (he may have another thread as well).

The problem is that the switch is called on to handle too much current, so the best long-term solution is to install a relay.

Easiest way to pull the convertible switch from the dash?
