Some pics of my new car. Documented by GM of Canada as one of 5 Ramrods sent from lansing to Canada in this body style. and one of 106 total.Still needs some work. It's a bench seat car with m20 and 3.42 rear and power antenna.

Hey Chris, I don't know much about the pulley codes, but I will be sure to check it out. Not sure if they have been changed during the car's life. The car has 64,000 miles the engine was rebuilt 100 miles ago. Thanks again guys for the nice comments. I have great plans for this car, hopefully I can see them through.

Chris, you had me very curious about this water pump pulley, so i went out and looked tonight and yes, it is stamped KA. Is it rare?? I am really not to knowlegeable on the pulley codes. Anyway, I thought I would let you know.

Anyone know who makes door jamb switches for my 68 cutlass or has a p/n? the standard brand is incorrect for the application and Fusick said 68 is all alone on application and does not carry them. Can't believe what a PITA a simple switch can be to find!!

Nayyyy, they're not rare. I'll give you $25 for it

68 W30 & 31 only but they seem to show up once in a while on others

What side do you need? For some reason I think the passenger side has one prong and the driver's side two. I may have one side but I know I don't have both

69 also. I have them on my W-31. also the 400269 water pump. basically the a/c length pump in a non a/c app, which required the KA water pump pulley with more offset.

VERY nice car, btw

I need both, but I have found out there are like 5 versions of this switch for 68 cars. I assumed left and right were the same, but found out I'm wrong. The drivers side has a round white connector with 3 cavities and only 2 of them have contacts in them.I will check the other side tonight. I don't have any switches at all to compare to.Mine are missing. Thanks for the help, Gary.

Great car!!! You ALL know I'm partial to small-block sticks, ESPECIALLY W-31 POST CUTLASS S models!!!!
Keep us "posted" on the progress. Do you also have a '66 T/P and a '72? The reason I ask is 'cause I have TWO '72s and have my eye on a '66 T/P.

Hi Dave, I love your car!! Factory race cars are awesome!! I recently sold my 66 t/p car. It was a black post car with red interior. I also have a 70 w-30 4 spd car along with the 72, and a 65 442 club coupe 4spd car which I am in the process of restoring. Good luck with the t/p purchase, hope all works out , they are awesome cars. Gary.

Is the black post currently on eBay your former T/P? Looks kinda pricey at $85K. The 65 club coupe is one of my all-time favorites as "Anderson Olds" raced one as a new car---my '69 W-31 was their last racing endeavor. Keep in touch---sounds like we have a LOT in common!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, that's the car. I saw pics of the Anderson 65... cool car. my 65 is royal mist blue with a sterling interior. It has some local race history, my friends dad bought it in 66 from "z" motors here on Long Island, a local super stock dealer at the time.

Very nice olds! I am very partial to 68's myself! Mr. Witt has also inadvertently helped me realize my 68 has the elusive KA water pump pulley. That was a real treat when I found out I had that! Take care of that sweet ride!

A 68 Ramrod out of Park Lane, doesn't ring a bell, but it piques my interest. I'm guessing it went out of town as I never saw it on the street (and I would have.) I'll ask around and see if I can get any early info on it for you.

Thanks, that would be great if you have any info on it. I would love to find the original owner. It had a Canadian '73 license plate on it when the guy i got it from first got it. He also gave me some old pics of the car with the original paint, the car also had a trailer hitch on it in the pics. I was told the guy towed a small boat around. In the pics it appears to have been alongside a house and you can see a lake or some body of water down below in the background if this helps any.

Well, 24 guys and counting! It would seem that I'm not the only one who never saw this car! I have gotten the name of the fellow who owned a red one, but I haven't caught up with him yet. (I'm thinking if he had a 68 red Ramrod, he probably knows who had the other one.)
I've touched base with a lot of guys I haven't seen or talked to in years so I haven't completely wasted my time. The more I try the more I'm determined to find this "mystery owner!" My brother has offered to put an ad in "Old Autos" for me. Good thing I have a spare hour a day for this, but I don't think the little woman agrees.
