What do I do with this thing? I can see the ground through the trunk and floor. I wanted the heads and console but ended up buying the whole thing. I will try and get more pics.

What you do with it all depends on what you want the finished product to be. FWIW, I'm seeing $20K easy...

Floor pans, roof because of the vinyl top, around back glass, probably truck pan, engine, wiring, interior...you've got a lot on your hands. That car might make a better drag car; gut it, stuff it, and run it lol!

What do you want to do with it?

If you just need the heads and console and you have no interest in restoring it, then either sell it whole to someone who needs it or strip it for parts then sell the bones for scrap.

If you have an interest in doing a resto, reproduction floor and trunk pans are available.

LOL! $20K to restore it...you could always part it out, make your money back and then scrap the rest. I'm sure it's got at least ONE good body panel, but then again maybe not.

I see decent front end trim, side trim, a few interior bits most of which are not reproduced in the aftermarket. Saleable in my opinion.

You tell me what you are interested in, I will take close up pics and pull the parts. The car get's delivered on friday now and has only a few days at that location before it has to go to the tip. My plan was to remove as much as I could that I thought had value. I hope I can help you out. Glen.

There's a rocker switch on the dash, above the radio. What option is that for? If a rear window defogger or power antenna that would be an item in demand. I agree, it looks like a lot of good usable parts if you can take the time to strip it. Does it have an emergency brake light just to the left of the instrument panel? I'm needing a red lens but would be willing to purchase the complete assembly. How are the tail lights? That's something else I would be interested in.

If your not saving the engine pull the brackets and pullys as those are always in demand. The heads should be easy to sell if you don't mind pulling them, if its a 4bbl intake thats another good item. How about the battery cable relay on the inner fender well? Those are usually broken so if this one is good I know you can sell that quickly. I've sold several of the throttle linkage/kickdown switches over the years. Thermostate housing is specific to a couple years, another easy to pull item. Don't forget the seat belts... even if the webbing is rotten the clasps are desireable especially if they have the carriage on the release buttons. I can't tell, is the dash pad un-cracked? Also, rroth01 is looking for 1967 instrument panels to restore, if you've not heard from him send him a PM for sure! Yeah, if it was me I'd invite a couple buddys over and just go from one end to the other pulling parts John

Don't know what the rocker switch is for. Car hasn't been delivered yet. Red emergency lens, tailights are all good, 4bbl intake and insrument panel looks great. Passenger rear fenderwell trim is bent but the rest is good.

I'm in Walnut Grove. North side of the 200th st. exit. The car will be in the 232nd st. and Fraser hwy. area when delivered in a day or 2. I should have it today but by the weekend for sure. Then I can get exact, detailed photos of the parts. We can look at the car on your way through if you like.

Vinyl moldings are mint! Rocker moldings have pitting but 100% intact. I don't know what this stuff is worth. Be honest with me and I will be very fair in negotiations. I don't want to give away a $200 part because someone lied to me and said it was worth nothing. I would be happy with $140 for example. A little bit of bs is quite ok. lol

Headlight bezels are weathered but dent free. No cracks in lens' but a little bit of fracturing in one of the outer clear front signals. The bottom of the blue console is broken but the black one isn't. Think I will sell the better black console and both cutlass shifters. I will be pulling many parts over the weekend and will post pics.

Don't know if you got the pics, Ranzan. Column needs cosmetics but seems to function quite fine. No squeeks or loose bearings and the signal switch is firm. My car was non-ac George. Sorry. I'm buying a running 65 330 today. Don't know if it's ac or if it would even help if it was but I will know a bit later.

Hi Glen, Dave here, it's a small world. Can't believe I joined this forum and stumbled across your thread. Hope that 65 330 helps you out some. I noticed after you left, my power steering hose has a cut and a leak. Think I'll buy a new one. It's interesting to find what people are looking for. Over the years I've thrown away so many good bits, but haven't we all !! This 65 F85 is going to be picked to the bone. I'll make sure someone gets the frame, too, it's excellent condition. Were you able to sell the frame on your 67 or was it hooped?

Hey, Dave! Glad to hear that she got 100% recycled. My jack stands went through the frame and so it ended at that. The little 330 has been helpfull to a couple of people and it paid me back. It's great to have another canuck on here. Contact rroth01 regarding the instrument panel. He's the man! Very, very nice guy. I may still be able to help you with a steering hose. Let me look through my stuff before you buy. Take care!

She's not 100% recycled yet, still looks the same as when you were here. I will take it down a bit at a time, though. Just have to make sure I don't need things I'm getting rid of. Any 4 door things are an obvious non-necessity for this project, although having the doors on helps to keep the instrument panel dry.

Forgot to mention, that juice bottle I got from you worked out really well. I mounted it yesterday with the correct bolts in the proper holes and it looks just ducky !! Strange, the things that amuse a grown man...

Sorry, Nufo. Someone had pulled it before I got to the car. Glad to hear, Dave! I got my camshaft in yesterday and I couldn't sleep last night, so don't feel too silly. LOL. I think I have the solution for your p/s pump. And yes, my doors were the last thing to come off of my car. It gave me a dry place to work during our beautiful weather patterns as of late.

My hose that's leaking is the front one, I guess it's the higher pressure one. I'm thinking I might take all the non-4 door body parts over to the barn at Lake Cowichan. Don't really want to throw stuff out. It's like my old 60 Impala stuff. I couldn't get $100 for the back seat of the 60 rag top in the lower mainland. Tried for months. Got my buddy to put it on E-Bay and it went for over $700. There just isn't any demand for the Olds stuff here either, I guess. I'll try and E-Bay some of the extra chrome. The shipping companies will love it. I'll have to sell the heavy things locally, though. Nobody's going to pay shipping costs for my 14 X 7 Olds rally wheels. Bummer, they don't fit over my front callipers. All they're missing is 3 center caps. Bolt-ons, too, probably not cheap.
