65 Trunk Lid adjustment

I started a thread in the Body & Paint section but thought I would put it here also.
As you can see by the photo my trunk lid on my 65 Cutlass sits too high on one side. Is there an adjustment and how do I do it if there is.
Thanks,
rokit

i believe theres supposed to be a 1/4" spacer between the hinge or something. but your lid could be twisted also

On that side, put alignment shims under the bolt to the rear of the car. The factory shim was a little different in shape, but front end suspension alignment shims are easy to find.

nonhog, thanks a very helpful thread. Since I live in Thailand I have limited access to parts. Can I use washers for shims?

I want to thank you guys for the helpful info. I used 2 washers as shims and as you can see it worked.
Thanks again,
rokit
