I am looking for clips which hold the bottom chrome mouldings on
these are the wider mouldings that run from front to back
front fender ,door and rear quarter the part # is 22510422
i have try everywhere with no luck
If anyone knows someone or a web site that has these
if they could send it along

You should still be able to buy new ones at any GM dealership. And if they dont have them in stock I'm sure they can order them. Also have you tryed Year One.

If you dont have any luck getting new ones I'm preety sure the Chevy Caprice and such of those years are the same clips. And the Grand Prix and Regal has the same chrome too. I know its hard to get them off in tact from a salvage yard but if you cant get new ones there are more salvage yard options other than Cutlass.

I got a 85 Cutlas salon with that same chrome I took off and Im not putting back on. I'll have to dig them out and see how many are still good. Getting new ones is the best route if possible.

 

If you look in Old Cars Weekly or Old Autos in the classified section you might find what you are looking for, and don't forget Hemmings...We had 'Ted the clip man' from Grand Bend with hundreds of styles of NOS clips and fasteners but he passed away last summer and we don't know if his wife will carry on with the business... in the Toronto area we also have Facca Fasteners but I can't find the address this instant...then we have Spae-Naur, a company in Kitchener that manufactures that stuff 519-744-3521..that should keep you busy for a while...
