1972 Convertible Beltline Strips

Do these beltline strips look correct, with the 1/4 flat stainless on both the inside and out?

Restoration Specialties tells me that is a B85 Reveal Molding Option. Anyone know anything about that?

Brown:
The ones that I took off my '72 convertible project were rounder than your pics. Yours seem to be flattened more.

My 71 did not have the wide ones like that in the picture. My car was a late 71 and ended up with 72 woodgrain in my dash, console and door panels, but the interior was pearl white (not available in 72). Kinda crazy.

Restoration Specialties tells me mine have been replaced and are incorrect. I know they were replaced in 1991, so I don't disagree they are incorrect. They say they should have the rounded stainless, not the flat, so I guess that is the way I will go.

Yes, mine has the round stainless. But it's a 71. I doubt there was much change in the gaskets in that short time.
