1970 front bumper

I purchased a 1970 olds 442 car a few months back. It has a 71 front bumper and looks terrible. So I found a set of turn signals and some other parts. The way the front bumper is mounted to the car leads me to believe that the bumper brackets are different. I have a line on a complete set of bumper brackets. Are these the same brackets just a different bumper??? any help is greatly appreciated.

I've compared 70 and 71-72 front bumper brackets side by side and there are slight differences. However, I've never tried 71-72 front brackets on a 70 bumper and mounted them to a car.

I went ahead and bought the old rusty bumper with all the brackets. It only cost me 50.00 and about 2 hours because the car was buried in the mud and the bone yard. Thanx
