Finally a true bump steer solution
I received an email from Chassisworks today displaying their new products and was pleasantly surprised. They will soon be offering Billet aluminium steering arms with a corrected tie rod end height as well as billet aluminium uprights. The steering arms will work with factory disc and drum spindles. Up until this point, I was thinking I would have to make my own steering arms.

Nice product, any word on pricing?
My car is lowered a fair bit, but nothing I would consider extreme. I had to install longer swaybar end links than what came with my Helwig bar, because the bar was so close to the outer tie rods. Installing these arms would raise the tie rods up and back near the sway bar. I wonder if this is a common problem?

Cool, but I don't understand why you would want to make these out of aluminum. Aluminum has only 1/3 the stiffness of steel, and given that you can't really increase the section enough to make up for the modulus difference, the aluminum arms will result in more deflection (and thus less precise steering) than steel arms. Seems like two steps forward, one back.

I saw this several weeks ago. I would like to see more reviews of it though.

Nick,
I'm sure they made it so it will work with their G-street line of sway bars, I can ask them about any issues with other aftermarket bars when I call them about some other things. Not sure on what the pricing will be yet, I know they are pretty proud of their products and it usually reflects in the price. I can relay that info when I have it. How exactly is your car lowered?
Joe,
I agree with you 100% on the use of aluminum, I was planning on making mine out of steel. I have a friend with access to a 3d printer who has my drawings currently, he just needs to be able to sneak it in. I may still just make my own since I would rather have my part on the car rather than something I bought.
Gary,
That UMI kit will not work, you simply cannot get the rod end high enough...already measured it.

It has SPC upper arms on it now, and SPC lowers in the garage to be installed this winter. I will be swapping the tall LBJs to the new SPC LCAs.
