Cruise pics.
Cruise pics.
Such a beautiful day in Central Texas.
I got my choke working, so I thought I would
go cruzin. Had to take my camara a post a
few shots. Everyone likes pics, right?
These are from a winding road between
Burnet and Marble Falls. LOW traffic, and great views.
Enjoy, and feel free to post pics of any personal jaunts
that you have taken yourself.

A few more for the road
as it were.
4th pic there was a whitetail
deer that shot across the road.
Barely got him, he was zooming.
The sun has almost gone down and
it's 72*. I haven't been on an evening
cruise with the vert yet sooo....see ya.

Thanks guys, it was fun.
Just got back from the 1st night drive.
Looks like a headlight adjustment
is in order. Thought about putting the top
up, but the heater worked just fine.

Thanks Allan. That pic blew up nice,
almost calender worthy. I think it's
going to be another nice one again
today too. May have to get back out
after a stop at the gas station, ouch.

We rolled up to Lake Leon to spend the weekend RVing with our youngest son and his wife. Of course the Olds went in the box and came too! Pretty drive around the lake and even found a couple of guys that wanted to cruise to the Sonic in Eastland. Good times...
Great pics, My wife & I have driven the hill country back roads plenty of times, sadly in a pos rental car as we are the wrong side of the pond.
Note to self - Take another vacation with friends in Llano soon.

Is that a 73 or 74 Nova?? Looks pretty wicked. Lightweight car with a big engine?
The Nova is a '74 with a "large" small block chevy; 400+ cubic inches, big cam, headers, etc. This was the first time I've been around a new Camaro and had an opportunity to check it out closely, it's a really nice car. His wife asked if I wanted to trade!
The Olds came home in the box...
I agree with Allan R, that side view is just gorgeous! Weather here was a little different, lol. But I took advantage of that sinister looking sky and tried to get a few cool shots.
