Beautiful car! I love that 66-67 style even though I have a 70 and 71. Maybe someday, good luck and enjoy it!

I was passing through Granbury
on my way up. I passed Eric
going the other way in Oldcutlass.
It was looking good, in a sea of plastic cars...

I love the 66-67's and this is as good as it gets. The only thing that could make it better if it was a 4-speed. This thing is one of the prettiest cars I have seen on here. Congrats and enjoy.

Very sweet! Looks pretty much restored already. Richard would like to see this one - looks a lot like his did.
I did not even think banks gave loans out for such old cars...

I wasn't sure a loan would go through either.
But I have worked with this banker in the past.
After he did his check on how much it was worth
compared to what I was going to pay, he was like,
NO PROBLEM!

Was this car bought recently on Ebay? It looks great and also did the one on Ebay. I almost pulled the trigger on the Ebay one. Good luck, Ken

Adam. Congrats on the bad a$$ ride. Looks to be in great shape and is visually stunning. Hope to see it live sometime. Is the 69 still with you?

Thank you sir!
I do still have the 69.
Still in a million pieces.
At this point in my life, it doesn't
look like I will ever get it back together.
I am going to catalog all the parts, and
probably offer it up here, as I know it
would go to a good home.

Woodside Credit out of Irvine, Ca does loans on older cars at around 6%. They send an appraiser out before the purchase is complete. 10% down and will carry up to 7 years. Likely a lot of the Mecum and B-J sales are done this way.

Dan was going to pull the power
seat and fix the up and back on it.
Did I mention it has a power bucket sweet?
We took it for a short drive, it was smoooth!
Ear to ear grins are gimmies!

Guys, I have a pm in on a set of
NOS SS-3 caps for my 15X7 wheels.
The plan: Sand blast the wheels and
paint them argent. 225 X 70's. Thoughts?
I have had SS-1 chromies on everything
Olds I have had in the last several projects.
I even have a set of nos SS-1 caps and retainers
that I won't use because...enough. Done. Available.
Rims, hoods, fenders, carbs, intakes, steering columns, a 455 E-head
core, carb to oil pan 2 bbl a/c equipped engine core....
The list goes on and on. A 70 OG 442 tranny core...
I have had enough of the parts gig. With my window
cleaning work, I am busy enough. This is my dream car,
and all the rest? Done, done, and done.

I have a 70-72 driver side elect. window door and it's fellow
door regulators, front rear, both sides and wiring harness.
What the Hell will I ever do with this stuff?

Sorry for the rant. I just got home from work
and have had a few. But that's ok, my GAF
was broken years ago.

I guess what I need is an Olds Garage Sale.
Simplify man, simplify. I forget the movie...

Very nice tru-blue. Not bashing, but is that the correct carb for that car?

I think you made a great choice. Getting down to one car you really like and then enjoy it. What more could one want in an Olds. Drive it and have fun. Ken

Hi Mike. Good eye.
Not the correct carb.
It would be nice to have the # matching one
but they were junk anyway. I have carbs if
I don't like the one on it now. I have a 66 330
that LOOKS like one from a 66 442....

Thanks again Ken. Once I find good homes for
all the Cutlass/442 parts I have, my stress level
will be minimized. I just have so much stuff, I don't
know where to put it all just to organize it!

Hey Mike, did you ever find that 66?
I tried to find my old one also, no luck.
I sold mine in Grapevine or Irving TX
years ago to a Livingston Motors.
It could have been in Garland, after 20 yrs.
details get a little fuzzy....
