New Technology Wipers
New Technology Wipers
Does anyone have a suggestion as to what kind of wiper/wiper arms I could switch to? I plan on driving down to Power Tour in Chatanooga and if I run into rain, well we all know how effecient the old wipers are on these cars. I would hate to get in a storm and be stuck with the old tech wipers. They plain stink.
I believe that the claim from most manufacturers of blades say that the adapters will fit 98% of cars? The new style blades are pretty salty for exact fits, but big box stores should be around the mid 20's for the pair.
Anco claims that they have 15" and up blades.
Still the wiper motors on low speed are slow on our vintage. I would suggest that you grab some Rain X, IMO this product is worth every penny!

I bought a set of new tech blades at Napa - can't remember the brand - silicon something I believe. The Napa sales rep helped select them. Not cheap but they fit perfectly and work great. I kept my old one of course, but the new ones are a must for drivers. Best $ I spent on safety.
