Did anyone see the 1970 oldsmobile 442 convertible on barrett jackson today? non w-30 and it went for 150,000$ i was proud. it was a really clean car. red with white stripes and white interior.

Right after that there were two ferrari that didn't even go for half of what the olds did.

It's a newly completed Thornton's frame-off restoration.
Good fair deal for them and the buyer IMO.

I want to see what that '69 H/O goes for.

I couldn't believe that Azure Blue '70 442 with 46k miles last night only went for $18k or the Flame Orange '71 GS455 Convertible that went for $21k!!

A couple of "affordable" W30 coupes also, but they did not show the bids for the red '57 98 Starfire convert.

Well they didn't say anything about the fire in the details, lol! New interior including headliner... yep. Guess there's no smoke smell or anything, huh? It didn't take them long to fix it back up did it? It sure looks better than last time we saw it!!

The owner probably just forgot to mention the fire. Two owners after I sold my 1972 w-30 convt 4 speed the car magically became a California car in the auction. When I bought it the car had Pennsylvania plates and rust.

1970 is the best year.

#1. It's a 1970 (Bottom of Hemmings article is value of specific years)
#2. It's a Thornton frame off restoration probably in the 100K + realm easily.
#3. It's a factory red 442 convertible, one of 549 optioned that way.
Not green, or one of the other random undesirable Earth tone dookie colors.
