Smile Very lucky!

This is what happened to me about three weeks ago. I thought I would go for a ride in my '70 442 to get gas. I was going to drive about five miles away because the high-test gas is 65 cents
cheaper per gallon. I'm stopped at a red light in the left hand turn lane. A woman in a huge Range Rover comes up behind me BOOM. Hits me in the rear. I jump out pissed.
To my surprise there was no damage. Not even a rub mark. I get my gas come home. Let me check underneath. no gas leak everything good. I look at other things.
I notice that when I changed my transmission cooler lines years ago, I had hooked up the lines wrong. I have a separate cooler, but I like things to be correct. So let me switch them. Of course,
I strip one of the fittings in the transmission. As we all know, a line has to be perfectly aligned to install. And never put a wrench on it until you can start it by hand. Well, I can barely see the fitting
under the car & it's so tight that I can't get my hand on it. So, I used the wrench & stripped it. Thank God for OPGI. They were the only one who carries the fitting that screws into the housing. had to wait a week
with the car out in the driveway (should have worked on it in the garage). Put a cover on it for one snowstorm. The part came the day before a 13-inch snowstorm. That day was 45 degrees
which was warm compared to the 20 degree days we were having. I laid on the ground for three hours but finally got it together. Put in the garage. Snowed like crazy the next day.
I'm a lucky man! Thanks for listening.

Glad it worked out. All's well that ends well.

Good that you got her in the garage before the snow.
