Now it's "U.S. Steel"

After 122 years, U.S. Steel is becoming a Japanese-owned company. Headquarters will still in Pittsburgh, whatever that means.

By whom? Apparently the only approval still needed is by U.S. Steel shareholders, and they probably will approve it.

I take back what I said! You are right. According to an article in today's Wall Street Journal, the deal still needs to be approved by both shareholders and "regulators," Also, some in Congress are opposed due to national security concerns. So it is not a done done deal. We'll have to see how it plays out.

That guy can hardly wipe his own butt. I wouldn't get overly optimistic.

He was that way during the last election, but he's been sounding more healthy recently, actually making coherent speeches and giving coherent interviews. And regardless of his toileting abilities, he's still a U.S. senator. I wouldn't dismiss him too quickly.

We're not talking politics or religion. We're talking economic policy.
