Went to a nice local cruise-in this evening at a burger and frozen custard joint only about 4-miles from my house. There was a nice turnout and diverse variety of cars. Enjoy!

Why do so many people have their hoods open at shows? I think it detracts from the looks of the vehicle. You dont see hoods open in showrooms.

I think having the hood open at shows is just standard "Show" presentation because most car guys want to see what motor is under the hood and what's been done to it in regard to quality of restoration and/or performance upgrades. Most judged shows also require the trunk to be open and windows to be rolled down. This particular event was just a "Display", no judging.
