And here we go again...🙄

Is somebody putting drugs in the Alpo in California? What's next, Vienna sausage (which certainly isn't made in Austria, much less Vienna itself)?!

All this commotion over $6 worth of pasta... the plaintiffs would spend more than that on one coffee at any coffee shop.

California members, PLEASE tell me not everyone out there is like this. Though to be fair, this and the Texas Pete brouhaha came out of LA and the Bay Area.

https:/www.npr.org/2022/10/27/1131731536/barilla-pasta-sued-alleged-false-advertising-made-in-italy-lawsuit

Plaintiffs, lawyer, judge (and jury if it gets that far) all need the hell slapped out of them first, and then start working on the stupidity.

Me Uncle Malcolm said it best: "I don't know about people".

Why should violence be directed at the Lawyer, Judge and jury (if it gets that far) ? The plaintiffs have a right to file a suit in this democracy. Beyond that, they would have to prove they were damaged or harmed.....that might be tough to do, considering we are talking about $6. The lawsuit could be dismissed by the judge or issue a ruling of some sort. I think the two people who filed the suit are idiots.

Wouldn't surprise me if it's the same lawyer or firm involved in the Texas Pete suit.

The whole mess is frivolous and contemptible.

Vienna Sausage has doubled in price, at both Wal-Mart and Dollar General. Am doing darn-dest to stop eating it as a snack.

If it was a law student, it costs money at least for filing fees. If its a lawyer, I am betting he charges a fee for filing papers too. Most lawyers I know make a living from their work. You did know that, right ?

I would agree with frivolous. That $6 pasta may be more expensive than they thought. Sometimes people have to learn lessons the hard way.

You should also read about San Marzano tomatoes; authentic ones must have a DOP seal and a Consorzio San Marzano certification number. Us Italian American descendants take food seriously!

Apply the same situation to the Oldsmobile world. What if a vendor said their parts are made in USA and they are the number one supplier to the Olds community...but weren't

But Barilla has it printed very plainly on the box that it is made in the USA. There’s no false advertising that I can see.
