The big cleanout
The big cleanout
Done the big cleanout today for a colonoscopy tomorrow. I thought at 77 years old I had out aged the need to have that done but my gastro dr wants one. And by the way I'm having the top end done at the same time. Just hope they clean up the black snake first.

Ughhh, Never forget the first time they told me don't go to far from the can, OMG I should have just moved my lazy boy and TV in to the bathroom !! good luck .
The first time my old man had that done, he wanted Denny's right when he saw it, and was hitting on the waitress being still loopy.
I told my wife I would do one at 80 and one at 90 but I would not do one at 100. When I had the last one at 70 the doctor said I would not need another one since there were no polyps or other problems. The procedure is not too bad but the prep is a bitch. It can save your life guys.
The colonoscopy is the easy part, prepping is the pain in the butt part! I'm 80 later this year and have been having the scope procedure about every 5 years since turning 50; got a little out of sync with the Covid crap. Last time was May 2021 and had both ends scoped for the first time. Don't know what they use to put me out but with me causes a bit of amnesia after waking until it wears off. I guess that's a good thing. I did have a sigmoidoscopy once. They don't sedate you for that procedure and it was uncomfortable for me.
