They didn't have Pringles 30 years ago when I had to patch my exhaust
But, I always had a lot of beer cans which worked well for a week or two

 

I think the pringles co caught wind of this a couple months ago and this was why they raised the price on them by 50% in one swoop!
I eat lays stax brand now, but the containers are plastic ovals, so they will not be as useful...

Fun stuff.

Just to name a few:

72 cutlass bumper on the back of an 85 delta.
Wheel wells shaped from "Great stuff"
4 door window switches in a 2 door. When one gets worn out, just move the wires over to the next one.
Sawzalled quarter panels behind the rear wheels.
Carburetor stud for a hood latch
Holes in the AC box to slide pushrods in and out.
