Headlight replacement for newer vehicles

Looking for any recommendations for headlight bulb replacement on newer vehicle. I have a 2011 Sierra pick up and I have a low beam light out. I feel the lights in general dont seem that bright and they are original. I was thinking of replacing with an LED perhaps or something else and wanted to get any feedback from you guys in regard to type or brand, pros and cons etc...
Thanks

Rock Auto shows replacement projector headlamp assemblies with and without halo lighting:

They also have a variety of replacement bulbs, including off-road only (wink) higher output versions:

I absolutely hate those HID or LED lights. They're really offensive at night especially for oncoming traffic. I see no problem with Halogen lights that do the job just fine. Plus they don't cost an arm and leg to replace.
