The Gunny has passed

Just saw this on the web....retired Marine Sgt. R. Lee Ermey aka The Gunny passed away today. Seemed like a good no B.S. kinda guy. RIP brother vet.

He also wrote the screenplay for and starred in "Siege of Firebase Gloria" . If you enjoy Vietnam era war movies, check it out.

A real American Patriot. Loved his intro to PBR Bull riding. Yes, he told it like it was. That's why he was "MIA" in hollywood the last 6 years according his interview.

A true American indeed. Always enjoyed watching him. Full metal jacket one of my favorite movies. Had I been one of his recruits he would have scared the crap out of me!
