Great music with King Crimson and ELP... Oooooh what a lucky man, he was.

Wow, first Keith Emerson and now Greg both in the same year. Carl Palmer was just in Cincinnati a couple of weeks ago with his Legacy show in honor of Keith.

RIP Lucky Man

I imagine we'll be hearing this quite a bit this Christmas season.

Didn't know that Emerson's death was ruled a suicide.

Dang, another one gone...bummer! Loved ELP and King Crimson (In the Court of the Crimson King). I also was sad when Keith Emerson passed just a short time ago. Yes, Keith took his own life because of Parkinson's (IIRC). Spend time watching You Tube vids of ELP.

Yes, apparently Keith felt he could not have the quality of life he sought.

Just Googled Greg Lake...he had cancer. He was 69. Emerson battled depression and a degenerative nerve condition. Both a great loss! RIP Greg!

A sad day. But the news also brought back great memories of those days.

His Christmas song gets plenty of airing over here every year, "Fanfare For The Common Man" used to be played at our premier drag racing venue whenever the Top Fuel cars were brought out.
Another one gone, a shame, but it seems there was a very large pool of talent for the Baby Boomer generation to begin with.

Roger.
