Did anyone else catch this?
There was a small article in today's Washington Post about how even the NY Times was having to tighten their belts. Buried down in the bowels of the article was a line about how the Times was looking to sell their interest in the Boston Red Sox.
WHAT???
Since when did the NY Times own part of the BoSox?????

I didn't know that specifically. It is scandalous that corporations own sports teams, coliseums, and conention centers. This is one reason why the Big Three are in such dire straights. Stick to selling cars, or writing news papers.

They can't sell that rag so they have to do something.
Not surprising, there's no honor among thieves or those "types".
LeBron James wears a Yankees hat at the ball games and cheers for them when they're in town, we call him LeBoob in these parts.
Cleveland just has to beat the Yankees or the Steelers, they can lose every other game and life is still good.
