What are my old car magazines worth?

In the beginning of February we went to Florida and had an excellent time at Walt Disney World. When we got home we found out that our basement had flooded.
The insurance company sent a clean up crew to remove all of the items that were damaged. We got the list today and included is a whole bunch of old Carcraft and Hot Rod magazines dating back to 1986. I have to put a price to each one so the insurance company can give me a cheque to replace them.
I figure $2.00 each should be ok.

What do you guys think?

I see them for a dollar each at the flea markets so two bucks should be about right for insurance. If you really want to replace them it should be more considering shipping and your time searching, tell them 3 bucks and settle for 2.50 if they balk.
