Eco-vandals "Just Stop Oil" have attacked Stonehenge, of all things. Right on the cusp of summer Solstice.

The Williamson family can trace part of its roots to Irish Druids so this vandalism is upsetting to us, as it should be to everyone who appreciates the ancient.

All we can hope for is appropriate punishment and that the orange powder washes off as JSO claims it will.

 

What do those idiots hope to accomplish???

 

It's really confounding with these uninformed hypocrites. If you took away everything in their possession that required oil to create, where would they be? I think that most "anti-oil" protesters are so focused on cars/oil/gas that they don't realize the millions of other products that use oil in their production.

 

Ironically, the paint they used to deface this historical site is petroleum based and will require a petroleum-based solvent to remove the graffiti and will most likely leach into the soil during the cleaning process. That's environmentally conscious!

Can we safely assume the crop was hand planted by workers who walked to the farmland...hand maintained, hand harvested, milled, dyed and transported to Stonehenge in sustainable packaging using environmentally friendly conveyances? Their hypocrisy only works when it's convenient for them of course!

But that's ok, I burn enough dinosaurs to cover their share too :-D

 

Idiots are everywhere in society and seem to be reproducing at a rapid rate.

 

Until they arrest AND fine the hell out of them, along with community clean up services for 1 year this **** will not stop. No consequences equals continued hooligan activity.
