It's a engine from a Graham-Paige tiller, a gossamer awesome tine type super power machine. Same concern as the former automobile manufacturing company. The guy I got mine from tore out about 200ft of buried telephone cable with the one I had. Wasn't buried deep enough. Buddy of mine has it now.

It says on the gas tank Rototiller.I assumed it was the original.

THat's a Frazer Rototiller from around the mid 40's. My dad had two of them and they are workhorses. They will tear stuff up that todays tillers will bounce over. That one looks to be in halfway decent shape since it's not all rusted up. Someone needs to get it to restore it if it isn't totally junk.Back in the day, there were all sorts of attachments one could get for them. Push blade for pushing snow, sickle bar, all sorts of different tines for the rear.
